Hello! My name is Michelle and I am the one-woman show behind High Horse Silver. I have been collecting southwestern jewelry for years and it wasn't until the end of 2020 that I started to seriously consider making jewelry. After a couple of months saving money to buy the basic tools and equipment, I made my first ring in January 2021 with a lot of help from YouTube videos and I haven't stopped since.

I named my business High Horse Silver to represent jewelry inspired by the high desert, the wild Mustangs roaming the land and silver for the material that I use to create my pieces. It's my own little world that I created: wild, magical and southwestern. There is something so meditative about making jewelry, from choosing the stone to the hours spent soldering, filing, cutting, etc. The amount of support I've received from clients and other silversmiths has been phenomenal! I love turquoise and opals, those are the main stones I work with and add my own southwestern flair. My other jewelry joy is hunting for vintage treasures. I spend a lot of time on online auctions, estate sales and flea markets to search for the perfect vintage and antique pieces to bring to you.

I can't wait to see where High Horse Silver goes from here, thank you so much to all those who have supported me through purchases, likes, comments and follows.
